Ready to engage your teams?
Create custom challenges that connect employees to your mission and drive real behavioral change.
This wellbeing calendar 2027 also covers CSR: it brings together the awareness days that matter to HR, CSR, wellbeing and internal communications teams planning next year. It keeps 20 of them, from Data Protection Day in January to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in December. Not every awareness day: only the ones where a company can get all its employees involved, at the desk and on the front line.
Each date was checked on 26 October 2026 on its organiser's website, with the link to prove it. When an organiser hasn't published its 2027 dates yet, we say so and give the dates of the last edition. We will update this guide as each official announcement comes out.
How to use it: spot the 4 to 6 dates in the table that match your priorities, read their entries quarter by quarter, then follow the method at the end of the guide. The table has a "Where" column: most dates are international or European, a few are UK or US campaigns, and the dates that only exist in France have their own note at the end of the calendar.

January to March 2027

28 January: Data Protection Day

The Council of Europe set up this day in 2006, on the anniversary of Convention 108, the first international treaty on data protection. It comes back every 28 January (Council of Europe). In the United States, the same date is marked as Data Privacy Day.
Campaign idea: one week, one real case from the job each day. A customer file exported to a USB stick. A photo of a whiteboard shared in a group chat. An email from a "supplier" asking you to update their bank details. Each time, the same question: what do you do? Starting point: the Data security and phishing awareness template.

Early February: Time to Talk Day

Run by the mental health charities Mind and Rethink Mental Illness, Time to Talk Day is the UK's day for starting conversations about mental health. The 2026 edition took place on Thursday 5 February (Mind). The 2027 date has not been announced yet at 26 October 2026; the day is usually held on the first Thursday of February.
Campaign idea: one day is short, so make it the start of a week. Each day, one simple prompt for teams: how do you ask a colleague how they really are, and what do you say when the answer isn't "fine"? The Wellbeing and preventing burnout template gives you the frame.

9 February: Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day takes place on Tuesday 9 February 2027, according to Better Internet for Kids, the European Commission programme that coordinates it. It is aimed first at children and teenagers.
Campaign idea: speak to your employees as parents. Parental controls, a first phone, teenagers' social media, scams that target young people. A campaign that helps at home earns the attention your cybersecurity messages need at work.

8 March: International Women's Day

A day recognised by the UN every 8 March. In 2027 it falls on a Monday, so the campaign can open the week.
Campaign idea: leave the flowers and the panel talks aside. Each day, one habit for teams to test: who speaks up in meetings, who gets put forward for visible projects, how the invisible tasks are shared out. The Diversity, equity and inclusion template gives you the outline.

March: Digital Cleanup Day

Digital Cleanup Day is organised worldwide by Let's Do It World, on a Saturday in March: the 2026 edition was on 21 March. The global organiser hasn't published its 2027 date yet at 26 October 2026. Its French partner, Cyber World CleanUp Day, already announces Saturday 20 March 2027.
Campaign idea: since the day falls on a weekend, run your challenge the week before. Each team cleans up one shared space (a drive, a shared inbox, a chat channel) and reports what it deleted. A team leaderboard does the rest. See the Environment challenge.

22 March: World Water Day

A UN day, every 22 March. It comes just after Digital Cleanup Day: the two can make up a single two-week environment campaign.
Campaign idea: on each site, teams spot one use of water they could reduce (cleaning, processes, washrooms, watering) and share it with the other sites. Industrial and logistics sites often have more to gain than offices.

April to June 2027

22 April: International Mother Earth Day

Earth Day is recognised by the UN every 22 April.
Campaign idea: the biodiversity of your own sites. Green spaces, car parks, roofs, the edges of warehouses: each team photographs what lives there and suggests one simple improvement. It is a campaign that speaks to the front line as much as to head office.

28 April: World Day for Safety and Health at Work

A day of the International Labour Organization, recognised by the UN, every 28 April.
Campaign idea: each day, one near miss that really happened on one of your sites, told in a few lines, with the question: what would you have done? Your teams' answers feed into the update of your risk assessment. The Workplace health and safety template is a good base.

May: UN Global Road Safety Week

Coordinated by the World Health Organization, the UN Global Road Safety Week has been held every two years since 2013, always in May. The 8th edition ran from 12 to 18 May 2025 (WHO). The 2027 edition has not been announced yet at 26 October 2026.
Campaign idea: start from your teams' real journeys. The phone at the wheel, schedules that leave no time to drive carefully, tiredness at the end of a shift. End with one concrete commitment: for example, no manager calls an employee they know is driving.

10 to 16 May: Mental Health Awareness Week

Run by the Mental Health Foundation, Mental Health Awareness Week will take place from 10 to 16 May 2027 (Mental Health Foundation). The 2027 theme hasn't been published yet; in 2026, the week ran from 11 to 17 May on the theme "Action".
Campaign idea: a week for everyone to learn how to spot a colleague who is struggling, and where to point them: occupational health, mental health first aiders, your employee assistance programme if you have one. Base it on the Wellbeing and preventing burnout template.

17 May: International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia

The date marks 17 May 1990, when the World Health Organization removed homosexuality from its list of mental disorders (IDAHOBIT). In 2027, 17 May is Whit Monday, a public holiday in several European countries, including France, Germany and Belgium: if you have teams there, launch the campaign the week before.
Campaign idea: one very concrete topic a day. What do you do when you witness a hurtful remark? Which words should you use? Who do you report it to? The Diversity, equity and inclusion template adapts to this theme.

5 June: World Environment Day

A UN day, every 5 June. In 2027, it falls on a Saturday.
Campaign idea: in the week of 31 May, one action a day linked to each person's job. Switching machines off at the end of a shift, planning a delivery round to drive less, printing less at head office. What the front line does counts as much as what the office does.

July to September 2027

September: National Inclusion Week

Run in the UK by Inclusive Employers, National Inclusion Week returns in September 2027. Its dates and theme have not been announced yet at 26 October 2026. The 2026 edition ran from 14 to 20 September (Business Wales).
Campaign idea: one everyday situation per day where inclusion is won or lost. A meeting scheduled when shift workers can't attend, a team lunch that leaves someone out, a joke nobody challenges. Teams vote on the one change they will make. The Diversity, equity and inclusion template gives you the structure.

16 to 22 September: European Mobility Week

A European Commission campaign, held every year from 16 to 22 September (European Mobility Week). It ends with car-free day on 22 September.
Campaign idea: each team tries a different commute. Car-sharing between colleagues on the same site, cycling, public transport. For mobile teams, eco-driving. If you offer a cycle-to-work scheme, now is the time to remind people. See the Environment challenge.
Colleagues from the same site share a car while others ride home by bike

18 September to 8 October: European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW)

ESDW promotes the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals through activities registered across Europe. Despite its name, it lasts three weeks: the 2027 edition will run from 18 September to 8 October, according to the European Sustainable Development Network, which coordinates it (ESDN).
Campaign idea: pick one Sustainable Development Goal linked to your business and register your activity on the official platform. The European Sustainable Development Week template gives you the outline.

October to December 2027

October: European Cybersecurity Month

October is European Cybersecurity Month, led by ENISA, the EU Agency for Cybersecurity, and the European Commission (European Cybersecurity Month). In the United States, October is also Cybersecurity Awareness Month (CISA).
Campaign idea: one habit a day, applied to your real tools. Spotting a fake delivery email, locking your screen, reporting a suspicious message to the right person. The behaviour you want is reporting, so say clearly to whom and how. The Data security template is a good base.

October: Stoptober

Stoptober is England's stop-smoking campaign, promoted by the NHS: in 2026 it started on 1 October. The goal is to reach 28 smoke-free days, because, according to the NHS, "if you can do that, you're 5 times more likely to quit for good" (NHS). The 2027 campaign has not been announced yet at 26 October 2026. In France, the equivalent is Mois sans tabac, every November.
Campaign idea: build teams that mix smokers and non-smokers. Some take on the challenge, the others support them. Share the free NHS quit-smoking tools, and never ask who smokes.

10 October: World Mental Health Day

The WHO marks World Mental Health Day every 10 October. In 2027 it falls on a Sunday, so run your campaign in the week before or after. In France, it sits in the middle of the Semaines d'information sur la santé mentale (SISM), from 4 to 17 October 2027.
Campaign idea: if you already ran a campaign for Mental Health Awareness Week in May, use this date to follow up: what has changed since, which resources people used, what comes next. Otherwise, start from the Wellbeing and preventing burnout template.
Watch out for the October rush: European Cybersecurity Month, Stoptober, World Mental Health Day and the end of ESDW all fall at the same time. Pick one as your main campaign.

Late November: European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR)

EWWR took place from 21 to 29 November 2026, according to its European organiser (EWWR). The 2027 dates have not been announced yet at 26 October 2026. It is held every year in late November.
Campaign idea: each site picks one category of waste (cardboard, cups, production offcuts, unsold stock) and compares before and after the week. Each site's figure is shared with all the others. See the Environment challenge.

3 December: International Day of Persons with Disabilities

A UN day, every 3 December. In the UK, it falls during Disability History Month, which ran from 19 November to 19 December in 2026 (UKDHM). In the US, October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (US Department of Labor).
Campaign idea: break down the myths about invisible disabilities, then say clearly who to contact to request an adjustment. Our 12 ideas are in the article on Disability Week, and the Disability inclusion challenge turns them into a campaign.

Teams in France?

France adds its own dates to this calendar: the Semaine QVCT (quality of life and working conditions week, mid-June; 15 to 19 June in 2026), the SISM (4 to 17 October 2027), the SEEPH, its disability employment week (16 to 22 November in 2026), Mois sans tabac (every November) and the road safety at work days (18 to 22 May in 2026). Each one is checked and dated in our French guide, the calendrier RSE et QVCT 2027. For the Semaine QVCT, see our article on QWL Week and the QWL challenge.

How to build your wellbeing calendar 2027

A wellbeing and CSR calendar isn't a list of days to tick off. It's a choice: a few dates when the whole company talks about the same topic, at the same time.
1. Start from your priorities, not from the days. Your CSR approach already has its topics: the ISO 26000 standard sets out seven core subjects, from the environment to labour practices. On the wellbeing side, the UK Health and Safety Executive's Management Standards cover six areas of work design that drive work-related stress: demands, control, support, relationships, role and change. Keep the 4 to 6 dates that serve those priorities.
2. One date, one campaign of 1 to 2 weeks. A single day mostly reaches the people who are already convinced. A few minutes a day for one to two weeks leaves time to understand, then to act. Research on learning points the same way: information reviewed several times, spaced out over time, is remembered better than the same information seen once (Cepeda et al., 2006, Psychological Bulletin).
3. Prepare 8 to 12 weeks ahead. That's the time it takes to line up sponsors, managers and employee representatives, prepare the content and announce the campaign. For a date that hasn't been announced, block the usual period and adjust as soon as it is published.
4. Space them out and avoid peaks. One campaign a month, at most. Steer clear of year-end closing, stocktaking and each trade's busy season. In October, choose between World Mental Health Day, Stoptober and Cybersecurity Month.
5. Think front line first. If the campaign goes through the intranet and email, teams on shifts, in stores, on construction sites or on the road won't see it. Choose a short format, readable on a phone, that fits into a break.
Three employees in work clothes take a break next to a machine, each on their phone

6. Track participation by team and by site. It's the only way to know who the campaign really reached. Share the results with everyone, then announce one or two concrete decisions.

FAQ

When is Mental Health Awareness Week 2027?
Mental Health Awareness Week 2027 takes place from Monday 10 to Sunday 16 May 2027, according to the Mental Health Foundation, which runs it in the UK. Its 2027 theme had not been published at 26 October 2026. In 2026, the week ran from 11 to 17 May on the theme "Action".
What are the key awareness days in 2027 for the workplace?
Among the confirmed dates: 22 March (World Water Day), 28 April (World Day for Safety and Health at Work), 10 to 16 May (Mental Health Awareness Week, UK), 5 June (World Environment Day), European Mobility Week from 16 to 22 September, European Sustainable Development Week from 18 September to 8 October, 10 October (World Mental Health Day) and 3 December (International Day of Persons with Disabilities). Time to Talk Day, National Inclusion Week and the European Week for Waste Reduction haven't published their 2027 dates yet.
What should a workplace wellbeing calendar include?
Four to six dates tied to your priorities, rather than every awareness day: mental health (Time to Talk Day, Mental Health Awareness Week, World Mental Health Day), health and safety (28 April, road safety), and the healthy habits your people care about (Stoptober). For each date, one campaign of one to two weeks, prepared 8 to 12 weeks ahead and open to every employee, front line included.
What is the difference between a CSR calendar and a wellbeing calendar?
A CSR calendar covers corporate social responsibility: the environment, inclusion, ethics, data. A wellbeing calendar focuses on health and working conditions: mental health, safety, workload, relationships at work. The two overlap, which is why a single calendar for both makes sense.
How far ahead should you plan an awareness campaign?
Allow 8 to 12 weeks for a first campaign: choose the topic, involve managers and employee representatives, prepare the content, then announce it. A company that already has its format can relaunch a campaign in 4 to 6 weeks.
